smartclip enhances publisher portfolio in Germany with SevenOne Media

Leading online video networks collaborate to offer rich interactive opportunities

London, 17 August 2009 - smartclip, the European interactive video network and SevenOne Media, Europe´s leading sales house for TV advertising and electronic media, announce an exclusive partnership to monetise SevenOneMedia’s MyVideo inventory.

MyVideo is already one of the leading portals for online video advertising in Germany. Attracting over 5.78 million unique users and 140 million video views, the portal features a number of popular German TV shows and will compliment smartclip’s rapidly expanding publisher portfolio which includes over 300 publisher sites. smartclip will now be able to offer enhanced reach and targeted opportunities for agencies and advertisers looking to engage with MyVideo’s audience.

Advertisers and agencies will be able to choose from a range of standard video advertisig formats including PreRoll, MidRoll, PostRoll and Overlay. MidRoll, particularly, is expected to play an important role in securing advertising space for entire episodes. Additional interactive in-stream formats such as SmartRolls and SmartSpots are also predicted to grow as agencies and advertisers look towards more creative ways of capturing consumer attention.
