smartclip launches new multi-screen video advertising platform
Online video advertising network is first to market setting new industry milestones
Hamburg / London, 28 April 2010; smartclip, Europe’s leading online video advertising network, unveils its multi-screen video advertising platform allowing advertisers, for the first time, to use the same ad format on a number of devices, including PCs, smartphones, connected TVs and games consoles, increasing reach and impact of campaigns.

smartclip has also signed a deal with OTTO, Germany’s leading mail-order company, which has premiered a standardised format for video advertising on portable devices including PCs, Samsung, Philips and Panasonic connected TV, and gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
The cutting-edge campaign will allow OTTO to tap into new channels in its advertising campaigns and to react to the changing consumption of media by a younger Internet-savvy target group.

smartclip and OTTO are working together to place video ads on Internet portals such as bild.de, tvdigital.de or sevenload.com and compliment the Summer 2010 Fashion campaign on www.otto.de, whilst presenting the new summer line from the brand. The innovative multi-screen campaign was presented at the dmexco Night Talks in Munich, entitled "TV everywhere – multi-screen sales in action."
