Miniweb selects smartclip to expand ad inventory across connected TV app

London/Hamburg, 3 February 2011; Miniweb, the leading cloud-based video distribution platform for connected TVs, has signed an exclusive, international advertising sales agreement with smartclip - Europe’s leading online video advertising sales network. The deal will generate advertising revenues from Miniweb’s connected TV application, woomi ( 

Advertisers will roll out campaigns across woomi over the next few months, supported by an already strong line up of content on the woomi platform from the likes of EZTakes, Openfilm, Radiant Pictures, Videojug and blinkx. With forecasts of transactional revenue from online video increasing to $8 billion[1]by 2015, woomi is perfectly positioned to offer advertisers a new and targeted platform through which they can reach millions of connected TV viewers in Europe and the US.
