Two years since inception, the video advertising network expands European footprint to include Benelux
AMSTERDAM and HAMBURG, May 6, 2010 – Europe’s leading online video network, Smartclip, today announced the acquisition of Moon Broadcasting, the Dutch start-up specializing in online video advertising. The acquisition marks a new era for Smartclip, which is rapidly expanding its European footprint, with offices in Germany, France, Spain, the U.K., U.S. and now Benelux.
Operating under the leadership of Annemiek de Geus-Verhagen, Smartclip Benelux will focus on delivering cost-effective, measurable and interactive online video advertising campaigns to the media, advertising and publishing industries.
The newest addition to the Smartclip group will leverage existing connections with Smartclip’s shareholder Van den Ende & Deitmers to fuel growth and raise awareness of the potential of online video advertising.
